Far away from the world I left
At the world peak, isolated and safe
I behold the beauty of nature, serene
Snow falling on desolate white mountains
The power of nature, ancient giants of the realm
As I walk through the range, beholding
Frost forming on the edges of my vision
Time quickening and so short, awaiting my end
Up amongst the white mountains, dying
Embracing the cold of the air, awaiting
Amongst the cold and mysterious realm
One with the lonely withering moon
This life is fleeting, but the mountain everlasting
Overlooking the ending of the worlds
Forever one with the heavens it pierces
Far away from the world I left
At the world peak, isolated and safe
I behold the beauty of nature, serene
Snow falling on desolate white mountains
The power of nature, ancient giants of the realm
Visages of creatures melt into the dawn
Foxes flee to forgotten shelters, await the return
Of the darkness that they move in
As the sun rises in the eastern skies
I lay in the frost, the snow, and the cold
I will become a part of the realm
Into the world and the mountains embrace
Forever a part of the landscape
That feeds the wild plant and beast
Snow falling on desolate white mountains
The last thing I will see
